 HALF DAY TOURS
Tour 3 :- The East Windermere

We will commence our journey down the east side of Windermere Lake calling at Fell Foot where you will be able to view the lake from sea level.  For a more panoramic view we will venture up to (Gummers How - a hill overlooking the southern half of Windermere) before heading for the resort of Bowness .  From here we will journey up through the shops and cafes of Bowness and Windermere .  From Windermere we will again join the edge of the lake on our way to Ambleside .  En-route we will detour slightly and call in at Townend at Troutbeck .  Before travelling on to Grasmere we will call in at Rydal Mount .

Tour 4 :- The Peninsula
From Newby Bridge we will visit Cartmel with its church spior in view for most of the journey.  En-route to Grange will be the spectacular view of Morecambe Bay.
From Grange we will follow the coast line before calling at Holker Hall
.
On to Ulverston
with the Hoad Monument in view we will pass the estuary on our left.
From Ulverston en-route for Barrow we will pass the South Lakes Wild Animal Park and call in at Colony Country Store
at Lindal.  We will pass the Gleaston Water Mill before approaching Barrow  via the Furness Abbey .  In Barrow we will call at the Dock Museum .  We will then head up the coast for a little scenery before calling at the village of Broughton .  En-route to Broughton we will view the beach at Askam .
