From
Newby Bridge we will take the road up the western side of
Windermere, Lakeside 
being the first attraction. We will then
continue through lovely wooded pastures stopping at Hill Top
at
Sawrey, the home of Beatrix Potter before continuing via Esthwaite Water to
Hawkshead
for a
little souvenir shopping.
We
will visit the Grizedale Visitor Centre
before journeying on to
Grasmere
and then on to Ambleside .
