Tour 2 :- The
Bay 7 Hour Excursion
|
|
From Newby Bridge we will take the road up the western side of Windermere,
Lakeside
being the first attraction. We will then continue through lovely wooded pastures stopping at Hill Top
at Sawrey the home of Beatrix Potter before continuing via Esthwaite Water to Hawkshead
for a little souvenir shopping.
We will visit the Grizedale Visitor Centre and view the beautiful shores of Coniston before journeying on to Ambleside
and Grasmere .
From Grasmere we will head south calling in at Rydal Mount and Townend
Troutbeck .
We will see the shores of Windermere on our right as we head for the lively tourist attraction at Bowness . There will be time here for a sail on the lake.
From Bowness we will head for Kendal the town known as the gateway to the
lakes.
From Kendal we will visit Cartmel
with its formidable church spior.
En-route to Grange you will view the spectacular stretch of Morecambe Bay.
From Grange we will follow the coast line before calling at Holker Hall
.

Tour 3 :- The
11 Lakes - 7 Hour Excursion
|
If you like picturesque views then this could be the tour for you.
All the lakes are beautiful and each will have memories for you.
With this tour we will view the central and southern lakes.
We will also be viewing the northern lakes surrounding the lovely town of
Keswick. We will stop at each lake for photographs , refreshments etc. Northern
Lakes such as Bassenthwaite, Crummock Water, Nuttermere, Derwent
Water, Ullswater and Central/Southern Lakes such as Lake
Windermere, Rydal Water, Grasmere, Thirlmere, Coniston,
Estwaite are all visited in this excursion.
